Peter graduated with a BS in Exercise Physiology/Kinesiology from the University of Colorado. He received a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He worked at East Cascade Physical Therapy/MCMC for 13 years followed by Hood River Physical Therapy for 12 years. He moved to Canada for a couple years prior to working at Water’s Edge Physical Therapy/ MCMC for 5 years. He has been working at CGPT for about 1.5 years.
He has attended many continuing education courses over the past 30 years including direct techniques/ mobilization from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, muscle energy techniques from the Ursa Institute, muscle imbalances/exercise prescription from Shirley Sahrmann and Norwegian Medical Exercise Therapy.
He then began studying indirect techniques including craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation from the Upledger institute and strain-counterstrain from the Jones Institute. Currently this is his preferred method for treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction.
Peter is a family man with a 22 yo daughter and 20 yo son. He enjoys skiing, biking and windsurfing.
