Lauren Bryan, PT, DPT, Women’s Health Specialist, Wellness Coach, Hablo Espanol
Lauren completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 2013. She brings a passion for helping others to her practice at Columbia Gorge Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. Her holistic approach to patient care is centered on empowering patients to do the work needed to move more comfortably and feel better while enjoying the process along the way.
Lauren specializes in both orthopedics and women’s health. She draws on a wide variety of hands-on techniques to promote balance and function in the body and reduce pain. Creating personal and fun exercise programs for her patients to achieve their rehab goals is an integral part of her practice.
Lauren is certified in women’s health and has completed training in craniosacral therapy specific to infants and pregnant and postpartum women. She is passionate about educating and empowering women of all ages to take steps to improve their well-being. She treats pregnancy and postpartum conditions, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary and fecal incontinence.
In addition to completing continuing education in orthopedics and women’s health, Lauren’s completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher training program also adds depth to her holistic treatment approach. She often integrates breath, mind and body practices from her yoga studies into her patients’ treatment plans. She also teaches a weekly gentle yoga class and Trinity Body Arts Studio in Hood River.
Lauren is a lifelong learner and when she’s not seeing patients, she finds inspiration in rejuvenation in spending time outside in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge.
